When we first met Katrina and Brian, our Creative Team could immediately tell that their love story was something special. The heartfelt details Katrina and Brian shared with us about of their relationship led our Creative Team to design their wedding day with a bit of magic and numerous hidden details straight out of an enchanted storybook.

As we worked with Katrina and Brian throughout the course of a year, selecting everything from the perfect stems for Katrina’s garden cascade bouquet, to the look, feel and finishes for their wedding day, the excitement and joy they found in each other filled our Design Studio and it quickly became evident that Karina and Brian’s wedding day would be another chapter in what had already become a devoted love story.

The first few details Katrina and Brian shared with our Creative Team was their mutual passion for Disney, a vision for a romantic burgundy, navy and blush color palette which would later include a twist of purple to please the mothers of the bride and groom, and the inclusion of a tree key chain engraved with their initials; an early gift in their relationship which had become a symbol that Katrina and Brian would be together forever.

As their wedding design came together with the assistance of our Creative Team, Katrina also requested a timeless favorite; an abundance of roses throughout the bouquets, ceremony, and centerpieces, which allowed our Creative Team to re-imagine the tried and true burgundy, navy and blush color palette with a new twist on the trend. Incorporating an ombre of burgundy, pinks and purples throughout their wedding design brought the wide ranging color palate closer together, accented by hints of bright metallic gold and classic navy accents to create to create the soft, romantic and traditional feel Katrina and Brian had always envisioned.

As wedding and event designers, it was a pleasure for our Creative Team to work closely with Katrina and Brian to interweave the personal details of their love story throughout their wedding design. When clients hire our Creative Team to execute their vision, they receive a cohesive design across our custom Decor, Fresh Floral, Linen and Drapery Services and are able develop a personal relationship with our Creative Team with which to share their life, hopes, and dreams throughout our tailored Design Experience.

From handcrafting hidden Mickeys, sourcing the freshest stems and gold etched tree bark inspired containers for their reception centerpieces, to completing their wedding design with an enchanted forest inspired fresh floral installation for their Chuppah, our complete Design Experience provided Katrina and Brian with a personalized wedding day which conveyed the story of their relationship before their family and friends.

Despite the 22 hour onsite workday for our Creative Team, even the best made plans designed over the course of a year could not compete with the might and will of mother nature. Amid wind and misting rain and temperatures dropping into the 40's ahead of Katrina and Brian's sunset ceremony, the celebration was reluctantly moved inside.

The morning of Katrina and Brian’s wedding day arrived with great anticipation, as Katrina and her bridesmaids prepared for the upcoming celebration at a nearby hotel. Our Creative Team was fortunate enough to discover the perfect backdrop; an azure couch which accented the aubergine hue of Katrina's bridesmaid dresses and David Austin Roses, grown at the same farm as Princess Eugenie's wedding at St. George’s Chapel the following week.

As friends and family gathered for the intimate ceremony, the true beauty of Katrina and Brian’s wedding day was experienced through the heartfelt words and presence of family and friends, and the way our clients truly felt about being with one another; culminating in one of the most sincere wedding ceremonies our Creative Team have ever had, or will have, the pleasure of being a part of.

As the live music kept the party going past midnight, there was something remarkable about the way Katrina and Brian so easily made their new home together, nestled among their sweet table and the enchanted forest inspired design of their Chuppah, surrounded by the love of family and friends; another sign that Katrina and Brian's love story was meant to last forever.
