In a romantic gesture, ten years from the day of their first date, Kim and Stevan were married in an extraordinary ceremony surrounded by tradition and the love of family and friends. The quintessential example of perfect soulmates, when we first spoke with Kim and Stevan, no one could predict what the following year would bring, and yet through it all, our couple became the sincerest embodiment of true love standing the test of time.

Kim and Stevan stayed together through life’s many moments, including graduate school, the beginnings of their careers as pharmacists, and numerous changes throughout the wedding planning process. Reminiscent of Casablanca era styling, with an air of contemporary sophistication, what was to be a reception of 350 guests at one of the most elegant and sought-after venues in Chicago’s Loop, was reenvisioned as an intimate ceremony complete with the loving support of family and friends, accented by a luxurious palette of seasonal blooms.

Classic and traditional, yet contemporary and metropolitan, our Creative Team knew from the beginning that Kim and Stevan wanted to create their own spin on a timeless style from a bygone era. Designed with the perfect combination of contrasting aesthetics to reinterpret the trending palette of burgundy and blush, our Creative Team greatly enjoyed bringing the trending and timeless vision of our clients’ to life.

Nestled amongst Chicago’s iconic architecture, and amid exceptional blooms, the background for Kim and Stevan’s photography created unforgettable snapshots in time which can only be described as breathtaking. With an unmistakable floral palette, this design was all about the texture and incredible blush ombre, which resulted in a high-end look fit for the pages of a luxury magazine.

Falling in love with the idea of floral as a traditional element, Kim and Stevan’s wedding day included a few surprises one would not at first expect. Accenting the best garden roses in the world in an extravagant ivory hue, our Creative Team used a combination of ranunculus, wax flower and olive greenery, complete with fresh olives, to provide the perfect addition for that classic martini look.

Made complete with a few of our signature hidden additions, including our exclusive ivory and gold shimmer personal floral tags and bouquet charms to honor Kim and Stevan’s grandparents, even our deceptively straightforward boutonnieres featured five greenery varieties, for a level of detail which can only found within high end design.

While many of the elements for Kim and Stevan’s wedding day remained timeless and traditional, our Creative Team added ample amounts of texture from mixed eucalyptus, to provide the final design with a hint of with modern and contemporary flare, inspired by Kim and Stevan’s elegant stationary suite.
