Contemporary to the core, this design began with one color in mind: emerald green. With stylish flare, intricately cut metal work and a darkened floral wallpaper throughout Chicago’s newest venues, LM Studio, our Creative Team knew from the beginning that this commissioned design required a bold accent of antique gold to carry the unified message of a refined and metropolitan aesthetic throughout the vast bar, ballroom and entryway spaces.

The perfect design to unveil the latest edition to our company, fabrication, we had a few surprises up our sleeve for this very special networking holiday party, as the highlight of the year for industry professionals of the National Association of Catering and Events Chicago Chapter and their guests.

Starting with a rich palette of velvet table linens and napkins, we selected the perfect decor of our Gold Metal Trees, available in a variety of finishes as the design’s central decor element. Following this with an additional layer of warmth for the winter months, we added black velvet drapery and uplighting to set the room as a stage and allow guest to peek through the panels of the drapery to the hidden surprise of the floral wallpaper behind, without the motif becoming a focal point for the design.

Adding a little bit of glitz and glamour to the space, we lightened the heaviness of the fabric selections with sparkle from our assorted crystal snowflakes, a hallmark of our company since its founding in 2005, along with placing beaded snowflake underneath our signature votive candles of Decor Centerpieces for extra shine. Completing the design’s modern minimalist style, a gold accent glass charger with a contemporary look seamlessly mimicked the transparency of the venue’s ghost chairs didn’t overpower the space with visual weight.

With additional Decor Centerpieces around the half-circular bar, we added depth with a Decor Installation of assorted candles and three-dimensional beaded snowflakes along the three sides of the barback, and completed the look with Cocktail Decor Centerpieces and Decor Centerpieces for the holiday themed dessert buffet and silent auction tables.

The party began with a cocktail hour and live music at the lower level, allowing us to unveil our grandiose design, as guest slowly ascended the staircase amid the main entryway. Followed by a plated dinner, Yazz Jazz Music And Productions later hit the stage with live twists on contemporary favorites, as guests danced the night away.
